I went to Walmart in Butler on Sept. 7 to pick up my prescriptions and ask about a COVID-19 booster.

I was very disappointed to learn that they are not available. They told me the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has not approved them for Pennsylvania. They do not know when or if shots will be available.

My husband and I are elderly so this is dangerous for us. COVID-19 is now on the rise again here and in many places.

I do not want to have to return to the time of being afraid to go out but we cannot afford to get sick.

COVID-19 could be deadly for people our age.

We made so much progress. Why are we now going backward?
