Mildred M. Kuhns
Mildred Marie Kuhns, 94, formerly of Irene Drive, died at 2:40 p.m. Sunday at the Sunnyview Home.
Born in Rankin, Ill., Feb. 6, 1912, she was the daughter of Albert and Dean Simmons Morger.
Mrs. Kuhns had been a clerk for Fisher's Cleaners.
She was a member of the Christ Community United Methodist Church and a life member of the Tanglewood Senior Center.
She is survived by a son, Melvin D. Rex of Pittsburgh; a daughter Mrs. Robert (Donna) Stewart of Butler; and seven grandchildren, Jeffrey Rex of Pittsburgh, Douglas and Susan Hays of Raleigh, N.C., William Jr. and Brian Douthett of Connoquenessing, Leisa Cavalero of Butler and Tamara Bonzo of New Brighton. She also is survived by 18 great-grandchildren, two step-great-grandchildren and two nieces.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Melvin Rex, and her second husband, Edward A. Kuhns, died July 11, 1982. She also was preceded in death by two daughters and a brother.
<B>KUHNS </B>— Friends of Mildred Marie Kuhns, who died Sunday, June 18, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Cloyd Osborne, retired pastor of Christ Community United Methodist, officiating.
