Police reports
The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:
July 30 — Jason Gene White, 46, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor receiving stolen property following a July 19 incident. Police said White stole an E-bike worth $1,600.
Aug. 1 — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash around 2:21 p.m. near Benevan Square. Police said Jacob Stewart, 23, of Butler, was turning left out of Benevan Square in a Kia sedan and struck the vehicle of Ronald Moore, 68, of Karns City. Moore was LifeFlighted to a hospital and one passenger from each vehicle was also transported. Stewart was arrested under suspicion of DUI.
Aug. 1 — Richard B. Kamerer, 47, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession following a March 18 traffic stop in Bruin. Police said Kamerer had four burnt plastic straws with residue, a small Ziploc bag with residue, a rubber band and three pieces of burnt foil with residue.
Aug. 1 — Robert Tyler Budmark, 22, of Butler, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of obstruction, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct following a July 31 traffic stop in Butler. Police said Budmark refused commands, resisted detainment, yelled at officers, ran to a residence, locked himself inside, then refused to open the door.
Aug. 1 — Jayden Myers, 20, of Polk, was charged with felony theft following a Dec. 2 incident in Butler. Police said Myers stole a 2010 Chevrolet Impala.
