Cavalero Scholarship recipients named
Two recent graduates of Butler Senior High School have been named recipients of the 2025 Rosanne Cavalero and Jane Cavalero Scholarships and will receive $6,696 each.
Evelyn Paserba is the daughter of Kris and Deanne Paserba of Butler. She will be studying biomedical engineering at Pennsylvania State University.
Alec Teff is the son of Cody and Nina Teff of Renfrew. He will be studying chemical and biomolecular engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology.
The Rosanne and Jane Cavalero Scholarships are distributed through the Pittsburgh Foundation. The funds provide scholarships in equal shares to the female and male graduates from Butler Senior High School having the highest cumulative grade point average who pursue postsecondary education, according to a fact sheet from the school district.
