Police reports

The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:

Adams Twp

June 23 — Jami R. Brink, 34, of Mars, was charged with misdemeanor driving under the influence of alcohol following a June 16 traffic stop. Police said Brink showed signs of impairment but refused a chemical blood test.

June 23 — Lyndsie M. Gillis, 35, of Mars, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of controlled substance possession, drug paraphernalia possession and marijuana possession following a May 2 incident. Police said Gillis had a THC vape pen, a vacuum-sealed bag of marijuana and amphetamine.

June 23 — Michael T. Rupert, 57, of Mars, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault following a June 19 incident. Police said Rupert bit a woman and struck her in the forehead.

Butler Twp

June 17 — Adrian Q. Nicelli, 24, of Lyndora, was charged with misdemeanor eluding following a June 11 incident. Police said Nicelli fled a traffic stop.

Cranberry Twp

June 24 — Grant D. Harmon, 42, of Lyndora, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of DUI and controlled substance possession following a March 30 incident. Police said Harmon had 16 stamp bags of suspected heroin and tested positive for fentanyl.

June 24 — Anita M. Johnson, 53, of New Brighton, was charged with misdemeanor theft following a March 31 incident. Police said Johnson stole $207.74 in merchandise and $20 in cash from HomeGoods.

Harrisville

June 23 — John Severin, 50, of Boyers, was charged with misdemeanor marijuana possession following a June 6 traffic stop. Police said Severin had multiple hand-rolled marijuana cigarettes.

June 23 — Matthew Ramsey, 19, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor marijuana possession following a June 11 traffic stop. Police said Ramsey had marijuana in a white Mylar bag.

Jackson Twp

June 24 — Ranese M. Johnson, of Rochester, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of false identification to law enforcement and accident involving damage following a June 10 crash. Police said Johnson provided a false name after a crash and left the scene.

Saxonburg

June 24 — Kayla L. Martin, 31, of Saxonburg, was charged with two misdemeanor counts each of harassment and disorderly conduct following a June 10 incident. Police said Martin continuously yelled at two neighbors after commands from officers to stop.

State police, Butler

June 18 — Edward E. Scott Jr., 45, of West Sunbury, was charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct following a June 6 incident in Butler Township. Police said Scott’s behavior caused a traffic stoppage on New Castle Road.

June 19 — Donald E. Vargo, 50, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor DUI following a May 29 traffic stop in Butler. Police said Vargo showed signs of impairment but refused a blood draw.

June 19 — Alexis J. Schrecengost, 29, of Butler, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following an April 13 traffic stop in Butler. Police said Schrecengost had a blood alcohol content of 0.109%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

June 19 — Jerome J. Lynch, 48, of Slippery Rock, was charged with felony strangulation and two misdemeanor simple assault counts following a June 18 incident in Worth Township. Police said Lynch headbutted a woman, grabbed her arms forcefully and put his hands around her neck.

June 19 — Sarah E. Penwell, 34, of Evans City, was charged with three misdemeanor DUI counts and one misdemeanor count of drug paraphernalia possession following a May 23 traffic stop in Connoquenessing Township. Police said Penwell had a glass smoking bowl and tested positive for amphetamine and THC.

June 19 — Bradley A. Felix, 45, of Eau Claire, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault following a June 11 incident in Eau Claire. Police said Felix attacked a woman from behind.

June 19 — Bonnie M. Cochran, 63, of Hilliards, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following a June 3 traffic stop in Cherry Township. Police said Cochran had a blood alcohol content of 0.129%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

June 24 — Robert K. Cookson, 62, of New Castle, was charged with misdemeanor terroristic threats following a June 5 incident in Center Township. Police said Cookson threatened to shoot a man.

June 24 — Allan J. Dunlap, 63, of Slippery Rock, was charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct following a March 1 traffic stop in Slippery Rock. Police said Dunlap refused commands from officers.

June 25 — Day Mond Robert Schmidt, 19, of Pittsburgh, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of marijuana possession and drug paraphernalia possession following a June 15 incident in Slippery Rock. Police said Schmidt had five marijuana cigarettes and a grinder.
