Police reports
The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:
June 16 — Jakob Obrien, 26, of Mars, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of marijuana possession and drug paraphernalia possession following an April 2 incident. Police said Obrien had 5 grams of marijuana, a grinder and two glass pipes.
June 13 — Steven A. Jones, of Butler, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of theft and drug paraphernalia possession following a June 13 incident. Police said Jones stole a man’s car keys and $20 in quarters from his vehicle.
June 14 — Brian Lee Lavorini, 59, of Bellaire, Texas, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of DUI following a June 13 crash. Police said Lavorini showed signs of impairment.
June 16 — Kevin Scott Jackson, 38, of Butler, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of controlled substance possession and tampering with evidence following a March 27 incident. Police said Jackson had six stamp bags of suspected heroin, one bag of suspected fentanyl and attempted to flush evidence down a toilet.
June 16 — Derik D. Stewart, 43, of Butler, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of terroristic threats and simple assault following an incident Monday, June 16. Police said Stewart threatened to kill a woman and chased her up the stairs.
June 16 — Michael Gary Watt, 48, of Butler, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of resisting arrest, evading arrest and disorderly conduct following a June 12 incident. Police said Watt was screaming outside, ran from an officer and refused to give the officer his information.
June 11 — Jesse Lee Maseth, 46, of Gibsonia, was charged with felony retail theft following a May 25 incident. Police said Maseth stole $279.97 in merchandise from Home Depot.
June 16 — Kimberly Mae Gray, 48, of Saxonburg, was charged with misdemeanor trespassing following a June 13 incident. Police said Gray returned to a residence without permission after being told to leave.
June 16 — Karyn Lynn Bell-Kline, 28, of Monaca, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault following a June 15 incident. Police said Bell-Kline stuck a woman with open hands twice.
June 12 — Wils Lahugh Cooley V, 25, of Zelienople, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following an April 27 crash in Jackson Township. Police said Cooley had a blood alcohol content of 0.176%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
June 12 — Jennifer Lynne Lower, 48, of Mars, was charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct following a May 11 incident in Mars. Police said Lower refused to turn off her car alarm for more than 2.5 hours.
June 13 — Police responded to the area of North Main Street and Bell Avenue in Chicora for reports of two 2-year-old girls escaping a home unsupervised.
