Timothy Ford Toy
Timothy Ford Toy, 51, of Elm Street, Slippery Rock, died at 10:50 a.m. Sunday at the Butler Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
Born July 28, 1955, in Butler, he was the son of Betty McDeavitt Staley and the late Harlan D. Toy.
He had attended Slippery Rock High School and formerly worked in the food service department at Slippery Rock University.
Mr. Toy joined the Army and served for two years in Korea. He then moved to Boulder, Colo., to become an aircraft mechanic.
He loved fishing and hunting.
He was a member of the Highland Presbyterian Church in Slippery Rock.
Surviving are his mother of Slippery Rock; two bothers, Dunny Toy of Souderton, Montgomery County, and Grady Toy of Las Vegas.
<B>TOY</B> — Friends of Timothy Ford Toy, who died Sunday April 1, 2007, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Smith Funeral Home</B>, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Albert Rhodes Stewart, his church pastor, officiating. Burial will be at the West Liberty Cemetery.
