Dorothy Mae Kaufman
Mrs. Dorothy Mae Yough Kaufman, 90, of Grove Manor Nursing Home in Grove City, formerly of Butler, died at 1:35 a.m. Sunday.
Born May 27, 1917, in Bradys Bend, she was the daughter of Charles Yough and Lillian Smith Yough.
Mrs. Kaufman was a homemaker and was a Protestant.
She was a member of AARP.
She is survived by a son, Ronald L. Bowser and his wife, Judith, of Butler; a daughter, Mrs. Darlene Lehner of Grove City; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, and three stepdaughters, Mrs. Linda Rachuba of Unionville, Mrs. Edward (Cathy) Spade of Unionville, and Mrs. Joni Pisor of Edgewater, Fla. Also surviving are three stepsons, Lawrence Kaufman and his wife, Susan, of Beaver, William Kaufman of Freedom, and John Kaufman and his wife, Kimberly, of Freedom; two sisters, Mrs. Jean Rottman of Petrolia and Mrs. Greta John of Prospect; 14 step-grandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Nall Bowser in 1960. She then married Earl Kaufman June 8, 1970, and he preceded her in death July 27, 2007.
She was also preceded in death by four sisters and four brothers, a grandson and a stepdaughter.
