Eleanor J. Libengood
Eleanor J. (Klee) Libengood, 89, of Springdale died Saturday in UPMC St. Margaret, Aspinwall.
She was born March 20, 1920, in Verona, to the late Arther and Emma Mitchell Milliken and has since lived in the Valley.
Mrs. Libengood worked at Kaufmann's Department Store in Pittsburgh for many years before retiring.
She attended the Springdale United Methodist Church and was an avid member of the Red Hat Society of Mercer.
Surviving her are daughter, Marjorie Green of Springdale Township; sons, William (Caryn) Klee of Cheswick and James (Linda) Klee of Saxonburg; four grandchildren, Thomas Green, Catherine Syring, William S. Klee, and Allison Klee and her fiance, Justin Ervin; a niece, Joanne Weight of Oakmont; and also many other nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents, two husbands, four sisters, three brothers, and a brother-in-law, John F. Green.
<B>LIBENGOOD</B> — Friends of Eleanor J. (Klee) Libengood, who died Saturday, March 13, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>CHARLES B. JARVIE FUNERAL HOME</B>, 801 Pittsburgh St., Springdale, where services will convene at 11 a.m. Wednesday.
