Henry H. Twentier, 72, of Butler died at 4:30 p.m. Friday in the Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Nov. 23, 1936, in Unionville, he was the son of the late Lawrence Twentier and the late Betra Grieder Twentier.

Mr. Twentier was employed at Penn Champ and retired in 1995.

He was a lifetime member of the East Butler Fire Department and the Lick Hill Fire Department.

Mr. Twentier is survived by his wife, Carol A. Davis Twentier, whom he married June 18, 1988; two stepsons, Brian and his wife, Carol, Cratty of Slippery Rock and Greg and his wife, Michelle, Cratty of Panama City, Fla.; five step-grandchildren; one brother, Chuck and his wife, Ruth, Twentier of West Sunbury; two sisters, Sara and her husband, Dean, McFadden of Butler and his loving sister, June Twentier of Butler, who he made his home with before marriage; and by a number of nieces and nephews.
