Flash flood warning issued for Butler County
A flash flood warning has been issued for Butler County until 11:15 p.m.
The warning was issued by the National Weather Service’s Pittsburgh office, and officially includes the west central part of the county, as well as Lawrence County.
According to the National Weather Service alert, between two and three inches of rain have already fallen today, and the area placed under warning may see an additional inch of rain tonight.
Heavy rain occurred earlier in the afternoon, when there was a tornado warning issued for Butler County.
