The Butler Chapter of the North Country Trail will have its May planning meeting at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 14, at the Jennings Environmental Education Center, 2951 Prospect Road, Slippery Rock.

Attendees can learn how this 57-mile section of the hiking path is being managed by a group of volunteers.

Trail events in June include a week-long trail maintenance blitz on June 3 through 7 in the West Sunbury area and trail work on June 4 at 6 p.m. the Pry Road Trailhead near West Sunbury.
