Free advocacy training coming to BC3
Residents have the chance to learn best practices to engage local, state and federal officials in cause-related lobbying with free advocacy training at Butler County Community College.
The Butler Collaborative for Families will lead the training, which will focus on the impacts of current executive orders, advocacy program structure, lobbying basics, information, making your case with elected officials and building advocacy coalitions.
The training takes place from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, at Founders Hall, 107 College Drive, Butler Township. Registration is required by Friday, May 16, and can be completed online.
