Dobson

Richard P. Dobson, 65, of Evergreen Nursing Center in Harmony, formerly of Chicora, died at 6:15 p.m. Saturday.

Born Jan. 31, 1945, in Butler, he was the son of the late Harold W. and Vivienne Wampler Dobson.

He was a store room clerk for the Buffalo-Pittsburgh Rail Road.

He was an Army veteran.

He is survived by a son, Donald J. Dobson of Butler; two daughters, Jodi L. Waldor of Butler and Judy A. McCollough (Mike) of Butler; 10 grandchildren, Jenna Weitzel, Francine So, Brandon, Cameron and Hanna Dobson, Kaleb Waldor, and Corbin, Kyiva, Lev and Lyra McCollough; two brothers, James W. Dobson and Michael D. Dobson, both of Butler; and two sisters, Sandy L. Weitzel of Zelienople and Sally J. Nickel of Florida.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley L. Snyder.

<B>DOBSON</B>— Visitation for Richard P. Dobson, who died Saturday, April 5, 2008, will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>.A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Grace @ Calvary Church, 123 E. Diamond St., with the Rev. Tim Bupp officiating.
