With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Cynthia Silagyi Cameron Davis, on Sunday, Aug. 16, 2026, in Saxonburg.

She was born in Rochester, N.Y., and raised in Natrona Heights, Pa.

Passionate about helping others, Cindy dedicated her life to education. A graduate of Penn State University, she enjoyed a fulfilling 32-year career in special education, serving with both the Allegheny Intermediate Unit and Fox Chapel Area School District. Throughout the years, she touched the lives of countless students, families and colleagues with her compassion, dedication and love for helping others.

Cindy is survived by the love of her life, Glenn Davis. The two met seven years ago and quickly discovered a special connection and shared love of life. They were married for four wonderful years, filling their time together with laughter, friendship, travel and countless cherished memories. Cindy and Glenn’s love and companionship were truly special and their time together was far too short.

She is also survived by many extended family members and friends, who will forever hold her in their hearts. Her cherished pets, Milo, CoCo and Chai, brought immense joy to her life and will undoubtedly feel her absence.

Cindy loved being with people, whether at an intimate gathering, a lively party or while traveling throughout the United States and internationally. Glenn spent 22 years in the military, but would joke with Cindy that she had been to more countries than he ever had the opportunity to see! Her adventurous spirit, love of people and ability to enjoy life to the fullest will be remembered by all who knew her.

CAMERON DAVIS — The family of Cynthia Silagyi Cameron Davis, who died Sunday, Aug. 16, 2026, has planned an open house celebration of life for all those who knew and loved her, from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3, at Laube Hall, 115 Community Park Road, Freeport, Pa.
