Janice V. Fair

Janice V. Fair, 62, of Butler died at 2:16 p.m. Thursday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born March 27, 1943, in Butler, she was the daughter of Charles Brandt of Kittanning and Helen Everett Clawson of Butler.

She enjoyed camping, crafts and raising exotic birds.

Ms. Fair retired from the metallurgical department at AK Steel after 28 years.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her companion, Gary Henry of Cabot; a daughter, Mrs. Scott P. (Lisa D.) Geibel of Fenelton; two sons, Lt. Col. Martin Lynn Fair of Fredericksburg, Va., and Ricky L. Fair of Herman; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandson. She also is survived by two sisters, Mrs. William (Grace C.) Hohn of Blue Bell, Montgomery County, and Mrs. William (Maria A.) Wladika of Media, Delaware County; and a brother, Anthony Patrick Grippo of Nevada.

She was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.

FAIR - Friends of Janice V. Fair, who died Thursday Sept. 29, 2005, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday atYOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 127 W. Jefferson St. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenlawn Burial Estates, Mount Chestnut.Information also is available at www.youngfuneralhomes.com.
