Scholarship recipients

The Butler Elks presented $7,500 in scholarships at its annual Flag Day ceremony June 14. The Americanism Essay Contest Winners were presented by Exalted Ruler Jane Prokopchak and Co-Chairman Josh Taylor. The winners of the Americanism Essay Contest were Corinne McLean and Alexandria Sertik. The scholarships, each awarded were $500, and were presented by chairperson Rikki Woodling. The scholarship winners were Claudia Allen from Slippery Rock High School; Abigail Campbell from Knoch High School; Lillian Ford, Grace Kuharic, Nicole Laborie, Emma LeMay, Erin LeMay, Alleysa Parker, Elijah Peterson, Mitchel C. Ray, Sophia Roskovski and Cassandra Sherman, all from Butler High School; and Alexandria Hartle and Bailey Hartle of Moniteau High School.
