Robert M. Garis, 77, of Zelienople died Thursday at home.

Born Dec. 25, 1926, in Zelienople, he was the son of Robert and Ida Eckhart Garis.

Mr. Garis graduated from Westminster College and retired from Johns Manville.

He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Zelienople and the American Legion Post 474 of Zelienople.

He was an avid golfer.

He is survived by a niece and a nephew.

He was preceded in death by a sister.

GARIS - There will be no public visitation. Private graveside services for Robert M. Garis, who died Thursday, April 1, 2004, will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery, Zelienople. The Rev. William Brewer, his pastor, will officiate.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are recommended in memory of Mr. Garis to a charity of the donor's choice.Arrangements are being made by theGLENN-KILDOO FUNERAL HOME, Zelienople.
