A Butler woman was arrested for assault after police said she attacked and bit a man.

Jaedyn Leslee Jankovich, 33, was charged with misdemeanors simple assault and property damage on Friday, Dec. 20.

According to an affidavit, state police were dispatched to 111 Renick Road in Center Township for a domestic incident.

According to the affidavit, a man present at the scene told police Jankovich attacked him and began to scratch his neck and elbow area, and also bit him on the right shin. Police stated they saw numerous scratches and a clear bite mark on the man’s body.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 30.
