Sandra J. Winkler, 62, of Mars died Wednesday evening in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh.

Born in Pittsburgh, July 12, 1946, she was the daughter of Verna M. LaFever Winkler and the late David H. Winkler.

She was an avid crafter, going to several craft shows in Butler County and taught and worked with ceramics. She also did rug making and looming.

Surviving are her mother, Verna M. LaFever Winkler of Mars; a sister, Diane Wolf of Butler; a brother, James Winkler of Mars; a niece, Mrs. Rob (Kimberly) Wilson of Danville, N.Y.; a nephew, Jason (Kelly) Wolf of Butler; and two grandnieces.

<B>WINKLER </B>— Friends of Sandra J. Winkler, who died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2008, will be received from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday at <B>McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home</B>, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars. The service will follow at 5 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev Nathan Esser, pastor of Mars United Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be private.
