Union graduate Mary Jane Eaton, a senior forward for the Westminster College women's basketball team, scored 17 points and had eight rebounds Saturday in a 64-51 win over Waynesburg.

Ten youngsters won the St. Joseph Council of the Knights of Columbus in Cabot's annual hoop shoot and advance to the district championship Saturday at St. Joseph in Verona.Winners were 10-year-olds Sam Montgomery of Butler and Dana Hinchberger of Sarver, 11-year-olds Nick Pfeiffer and Anna Christy of Sarver, 12-year-olds Ryan Schultheis and Hannah Novotny of Cabot, 13-year-olds Nick Gentile and Amanda Zacchia of Sarver, and 14-year-olds Michael Gallagher of Saxonburg and Rachel Doutt of Butler.
