Cody Reep scored four goals and added an assist Monday as the Butler Middle School hockey team defeated Montour, 7-2, at Robert Morris University.

Brayden Povlick scored three goals. Colton Gregory, Andrew Roskovski, Rowan Musko, Sal DiDomenico and Tristan McGarrah all had an assist.

E.J. Delaney made 23 saves in goal for Butler (6-6-1), which plays Pine-Richland at 9:30 p.m. Feb. 22 at the Baierl Ice Complex.

Boys Basketball

James Desmond sank two free throws in the final seconds to seal the Butler Middle School Gold boys basketball team’s 44-40 win over Riverview.

Max Gianneski scored eight points and had seven rebounds. Ian Shay netted eight points. Tyler Wiles had seven points, Jordan Hibbard six points and five rebounds.

Butler finished the season at 5-8.
