Cody Reep had three goals and two assists Tuesday night as the Butler Middle School hockey team defeated Burrell, 8-3, in a quarterfinal playoff game.

It was Reep’s fourth successive hat trick.

Tristan McGarrah and Ron Kuczynski scored two goals each for Butler while Andrew Roskovski added one. Brayden Povlick and Owen Denny had two assists each.

EJ Delaney made 16 saves in goal for the Golden Tornado.

Butler will play the Wheeling Park-Upper St. Clair winner at 7:20 p.m. March 14 in the semifinals at Ice Castle.
