Dennis J. Werner, 55, of Butler died Saturday at his home.

He was born May 21, 1953, in Pittsburgh, the son of the late Edward John Werner and the late Rosailia Margaret Fork.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, having served during the Vietnam War.

Surviving are his wife, Debra L. Werner; a daughter, Mrs. Mike (Dannielle) Hilty of Cheswick; two sons and their spouses, Dennis and Margaret Werner of West Virginia and David J. and Kelly Werner of Virginia; grandchildren, Sarah, Jamie Lee, Shadanay and Aarya; three sisters, Mrs. Norbert (Mary Ann) Rathke of West Deer, Donna Lane of Florida and Mrs. Don (Angela) Papin of South Hills; and two brothers and their spouses, Daniel and Jenny Werner of Iowa and Mark and Loretta Werner of West Deer.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Werner.
