Jennings Environmental Education Center, Route 528, Brady Township, will be the site of spring wildflower walk at 2 p.m. Sunday for Mother’s Day. The 90 minute walk will begin with Jennings staff introducing the history, uses and folklore of the season’s first blooms. Jennings is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays and on weekends as scheduled. The trails are open daily from sunrise to sunset. Call 724-794-6011.

The 16th annual Outdoor Extravaganza, sponsored by the Butler Outdoor Club, is planned for Memorial Day weekend. Base camp is Breakneck Campground near McConnells Mill and Moraine state parks. Activities will include biking, hikes, canoe and kayak trips, a float raft trip, horseback riding, sailing and rappelling. Activities begin 9 a.m. each day.
