BUTLER CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE

Butler Church of the Nazarene, 4410 Oakdale Road and Route 68, will have special music Sunday with Chrisann Green.

CHRIST COMMUNITY UNITED METHODIST

The youth group of Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road, will leave Friday for the Spark youth retreat.

There will be a preschool meeting at 1:15 p.m. Monday.

The church council will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Food cupboard items for January are tuna and noodles. Cereal is a special request.

CHRIST'S OUTREACH

The men’s breakfast gathering of Christ’s Outreach Church, 120 Walker Ave., will be at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Mac’s Route 8 Café, 16 Pittsburgh Road.

COMMUNITY LIFE

Community Life Church holds service at McQuistion Elementary School.

There will be a prayer meeting from 6:30 to 7:30 tonight at the Butler Public Library, 218 N. McKean St. There will be another meeting Jan. 28.

Altar worker training will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the YMCA, Trustees Room, 339 N. Washington St. Sign up at the information hub to attend.

To join a winter life group, contact Amanda Ogle.

The elementary-aged life group meets at 7 p.m. Wednesdays at the Rev. Ben Ogle’s home.

GRACE@CALVARY LUTHERAN

Volunteers from Grace @ Calvary Lutheran Church, 123 E. Diamond St., will take Communion and have a worship service at 11 a.m. Monday and Tuesday at LIFE Butler County. To participate, meet at 10:40 a.m. at the church.

Butler Relay For Life will hold its monthly meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the church.

Ladies night out will be at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 4 at Rock Ann Haven.

GRACEWAY

GraceWay meets at the Center Township Elementary School on Mercer Road.

Beth Ackelson will provide the special music at GraceWay for the Sunday worship service.

HILL UNITED PRESBYTERIAN

Hill United Presbyterian Church, 501 Second St., will have Sunday school for all ages at 9:15 a.m. Sunday.

The sign-up sheet for pulpit flowers is posted on the bulletin board near the church office.

MARS UNITED PRESBYTERIAN

Mars United Presbyterian Church, 232 Crowe Ave., Mars, will have a session meeting at 7 p.m. today in the board room.

Youths and families will meet to leave for Peek’n Peak weekend at 4:30 p.m. Friday at the church.

The Rev. Bill Jackson will lead both services Sunday.

There will be a deacon meeting at 7 p.m. Monday.

GROW will meet for dinner and study at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Valencia Church.

NEW LIFE CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES

New Life Christian Ministries, 139 Knoch Road, Saxonburg, has opened Life Sprouts Preschool registration for the 2016-17 school year to church members and Life Sprouts students. Open registration for the community will begin Monday.

ST. LUKE'S LUTHERAN

Students in grades nine to 12 and their friends will have food, fun and fellowship at youth group from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the youth room at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 310 W. Main St., Saxonburg.

Community quiet time will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the sanctuary.

The annual congregational dinner will be at noon Jan. 31. Meat and rolls will be provided. Take a family-size dish or dessert to share. A meeting will follow at 1 p.m.

ST. MARK'S EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN

Bible Bowl practice will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 201 W. Jefferson St.

SUMMIT PRESBYTERIAN

The annual congregational meeting at Summit Presbyterian Church, 181 Caldwell Drive, will begin with a potluck supper at 5 p.m. Sunday before the meeting. Take a dish to share.
