3:35 a.m. Thursday — Andrew J. Gales, 23, of Greensburg was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence on North Main Street. Gales also was cited for disregarding traffic lanes.
Wednesday — Two lighted deer ornaments valued at $100 were stolen from a home at 223 Freeport Road in Summit Township. The theft occurred between 11:30 p.m. Tuesday and 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.6:50 p.m. Monday — An unknown would-be burglar failed to break into a Sanderson Drive home in Slippery Rock Township. Awindow sustained about $100 in damages in the attempted burglary.
Monday — An unknown burglar ransacked a home at 314 Sopher Road in Wolf Creek Township. Police did not say if anything was taken in the burglary that occurred between 9 p.m. and midnight.3 a.m. Dec. 24 — Someone broke a glass door window in a failed attempt to break into the Trader Horn store on West Main Street in Pine Township. The door had about $250 in damages.
2 p.m. Dec. 25 — Charles Irvin John Jr., 40, of Worthington allegedly violated a protection from abuse order following a disturbance at 279 Wyant Road in North Buffalo Township. Police said he violated the court order issued to 33-year-old Mandy John of Kittanning. John Jr. on Wednesday was cited for harassment in connection with the incident6:45 a.m. Dec. 22 — Apickup truck driven by Larrie Crissman, 68, of Kittanning crashed into a guardrail on ice-covered Route 28 near Old Route 28 in North Buffalo Township. Crissman was treated at ACMHHospital for moderate injuries.
