Carl D. Pearce

Carl D. Pearce, 62, of Mars died Sunday morning at UPMC Presbyterian hospital, Pittsburgh.

Born in Mars, Feb. 9, 1942, he was the son of Ruth Gray Pearce and the late Ralph Pearce.

He was a self-employed long-haul truck driver and a Navy veteran.

Mr. Pearce was a member of the John E. Mair Lodge 729 F&AM and the Mars United Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are his wife, Jean Hathazy Pearce, whom he married May 26, 1962; a son, Kenneth J. Pearce of North Royalton, Ohio; a daughter, Diana Pearce of Mars; his mother of Moon Township; a sister, Ellen Pearce of Moon Township; two brothers, Paul Pearce of Barbourville, Va., and Larry Pearce of Boswell, Somerset County, and five grandchildren.

PEARCE - Friends of Carl D. Pearce, who died Sunday, Dec. 12, 2004, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday atMcDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave. Mars. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mars United Presbyterian Church, Crowe Avenue, Mars, with the Rev. Robert McCrumb II and the Rev. John Rickloff officiating.Members of John E. Mair Lodge 729 F&AM will hold a Masonic service at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.Memorial donations may be made to C.O.R.E., 204 Sigma Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15238.
