Butler Middle School searched by canine officers after threat
Butler Middle School parents were notified Thursday that the school was swept by canine officers after an inappropriate message was discovered in the school.
A letter from Superintendent Brian White, which was posted on the district’s website, said the noncredible message was found late in the day and law enforcement was called.
“The school district takes all threats seriously and will engage in all appropriate disciplinary action under the student code of conduct and under Pennsylvania State Law. Additionally restitution for additional costs to the school district and law enforcement will be pursued,” White said in the letter.
