8:11 p.m. Friday — David Lloyd, 82, of Butler Township was arrested for driving under the influence on South McKean Street. He was also cited for careless driving.
Saturday — Three people were arrested for driving under the influence during roving DUI patrols between Friday night and Saturday morning in seven municipalities. Forty vehicles were stopped during the enforcement detail. In addition to the DUI arrests, officers issued five traffic citations and 23 warnings.
7:54 p.m. Monday — Five suspected illegal aliens, all from Mexico, were arrested at a traffic stop on Interstate 79 in Plain Grove Township, Lawrence County.The Mexicans, between 16 and 26 years old, were riding in a vehicle with a suspended Arizona registration. The suspects were turned over to federal immigration authorities.8:15 a.m. Monday — A car driven by Rodney Pflugh, 39, of Butler veered off Route 488 at the Interstate 79 off-ramp in Muddy Creek Township, and rolled over at least one time. Police said the crash possibly occurred when Pflugh suffered a seizure.He was flown by medical helicopter to Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh. His condition was not known this morning. Police said Pflugh, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.6 a.m. Monday — A pickup truck driven by Wesley Graham, no age given, of Saxonburg crashed into a culvert along Lardintown Road in Clinton Township. Graham, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered moderate injuries.5:28 a.m. Monday — Robert Walters Jr., 37, of Harrisville escaped injury when his 1998 Dodge pickup truck caught fire as he traveled on Route 308 in Center Township.Walters told police he was driving when he noticed smoke and flames coming from under the dashboard. He tried but was unable to place the vehicle's transmission in the park position and get out of the truck at the same time.The pickup went off the road and hit a tree. The truck burst into flames but not before Walters managed to get out. Unionville firefighters were called and extinguished the fire.
