4:06 p.m. Tuesday — Vehicles driven by Wilmont VanGorder, 60, of Prospect and Deanna Ace, 47, of Butler collided on New Castle Road in front of the Auto Zone store. Ace's vehicle after the collision struck another vehicle driven by Anton Bowman, 17, of West Sunbury.Ace was treated at Butler Memorial Hospital for unknown injuries. VanGorder was cited for following too closely to another vehicle.

8:30 p.m. Tuesday — A pickup truck driven by John A. McCandless, 75, of Butler and a car driven by Lucas Desko, 24, of Polk, Venango County, collided at Routes 8 and 138 in Clay Township. McCandless was cited for a stop sign violation.7:09 p.m. Tuesday — Ryan C. May, 20, of Ellwood City, Lawrence County, is accused of stealing two fishing poles from an office of Hindman Moving on Hindman Lane in Connoquenessing Township."(May) related," according to a police report, "that he stole the fishing pole because he was mad over the fact that his first paycheck was not ready."May is charged with theft and receiving stolen property. William Stegner of Butler owns the stolen property valued at $190.5 p.m. Monday — A 16-year-old Saxonburg boy was arrested for allegedly breaking into the Deer Road home of Robert Daughtery in Clinton Township and taking the victim's car. The boy, who authorities did not identify, is charged in juvenile court with burglary and theft.8:35 p.m. Sunday — Sean K. Wisniewski, 22, of Pittsburgh is accused of throwing an unknown object from his vehicle at another vehicle on Interstate 79 in Jackson Township. James Kello of Pittsburgh was driving the vehicle that was hit. Wisniewski was cited for disorderly conduct.

June 24 — Police filed drug-related charges against a New Castle woman stemming from an April 15 traffic stop on Route 422 in North Buffalo Township.Mary Elizabeth Innocent was charged following a search of her vehicle.She is charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving with a suspended license, driving an unregistered vehicle, and driving without valid inspection.
