10:23 p.m. Wednesday — John Locke, 47, of Butler was arrested for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend, 24-year-old Stacey Ann Davis of Butler, during a domestic dispute as the couple walked on Liberty Street. Locke is charged with simple assault.8:24 p.m. Tuesday — A car driven by Linette Beinhardt, 32, of Saxonburg struck the rear of another car on North Main Street. Police believe the crash occurred as Beinhardt was having a diabetic emergency.No one was injured in the crash but Beinhardt was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital. Christa Wagner, 29, of Butler Township, was driving the other car.6:31 p.m. Tuesday — Charles R. Hoffman, 29, faces drug charges in connection with an apparent heroin overdose at his Hansen Avenue apartment.Police were called to the apartment and found a medic treating Hoffman, who was unresponsive and on the floor.An officer noticed three empty stamp bags of suspected heroin and one unopened bag on the kitchen table. Also on the table were two spoons with suspected heroin residue. On the kitchen table, police later recovered a syringe.Hoffman was revived but refused hospital treatment. Police said he is charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.8:35 a.m. Tuesday — Acar driven by Denise Bartholomew, 41, of Cabot and a sport utility vehicle driven by Glenn Wheeler, 63, of Butler Township collided on CDC Drive at the Pullman Square parking lot. Bartholomew suffered minor injuries.

Tuesday — Samuel Barkley reported several guns were stolen in a burglary between 9 a.m. and midnight at his Jefferson Township apartment. No other information was available this morning.State Police, FranklinMonday — An unknown thief took $700 from a cash drawer at FYDA Freightliner on Route 8 in Barkeyville. The theft occurred between Friday and Monday.
