Monday — Travis Octavis Hilliard-Williams, 19, of Butler was arraigned on drug charges in connection with a controlled drug buy Aug. 10.Police said the defendant allegedly sold two stamp bags of suspected heroin to an undercover officer at a West Brady Street apartment in Butler.Hilliard-Williams is charged with delivery of a controlled substance and possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance, both felonies, as well as possession of a controlled substance. The defendant, following arraignment, was placed in Butler County Prison on $25,000 bond.

2:43 a.m. Thursday — Samantha Jo Bronder, 22, of Pittsburgh was arrested for driving under the influence on Pepper Street. Police said Bronder also was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and disregarding traffic lanes.Thursday — A small amount of money was taken in a burglary at Thelma's Salon on West Jefferson Street. Police said the unknown burglar broke a window to get inside the store.
