8:17 p.m. Monday — An unknown thief stole a CBradio from a car on North Elm Street. The radio is valued at $150.Monday — Bruce Eldridge of Butler reported someone between Oct. 5 and 8 slashed five tires on his car hauler on Forcht Way.

10:33 a.m. Tuesday — Aminivan driven by Marilyn Hinchberger, 68, of Butler struck a deer on Morton Avenue near the Boy Scout office.2:03 a.m. Tuesday — Apickup truck driven by Gerald Huselton Jr., 65, of Butler crashed into a ditch before hitting three mailboxes and a utility pole. Police said the crash investigation continues.

Tuesday — Nine rifles and a pistol were stolen in a burglary between 5:30 a.m. Monday and 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Barron Road home of David J. Barron in Worth Township. Also stolen were three hunting knives and numerous boxes of ammunition.
