12:01 p.m. Wednesday — Michelle McGonigle, 24, of Butler was charged with retail theft after she allegedly put a roast and some mushrooms in her diaper bag at Friedman's then attempted to leave without paying.4:51 p.m. Sunday — Heather Grosskopf, 28, of Butler was charged with forgery and theft by deception after she allegedly tried to return shampoo and conditioner bottles which were half-used and filled with water, to Dollar General, then signed a false name on the sales receipt.
12:48 a.m. Wednesday — James Russell, 34, of Gas City, Ind., was charged with driving under the influence, driving with a suspended license and driving at an unsafe speed following a traffic stop on South Duffy Road.2:38 a.m. Tuesday — Alfred Henry Hurst, 45, of Lyndora was charged with driving under the influence, suspended registration, driving with a suspended license DUI related, no required insurance, turning movements requiring signals, general lighting requirements and operation without official inspection certificate following a traffic stop on Whitestown Road.
9:45 p.m. Tuesday — A car driven by Matthew Freeland, 18, of Butler crashed into a utility pole along South Benbrook Road in Center Township. Freeland was not injured.7:57 p.m. Sunday — Someone stole a table saw belonging to Jason Fanin of Butler from a shed on Stoney Run Road in Center Township.10:22 a.m. Oct. 22 — A tractor trailer driven by David Bradley, 45, of Fall Branch, Tenn., crashed into several guard rails and overturned into a yard along Route 68 near Wind Walker Lane in Oakland Township. Bradley, who was not injured, was charged with driving too fast for conditions, accidents involving overturned vehicles, driving on the right side of the road and securing loads in vehicles.
Oct. 5. — Police in South Buffalo Township are searching for Dennis Richard Baker, Jr., 21, of Kittanning on charges of stalking, terroristic threats and criminal trespass. Baker is white, about 6-feet, 4-inches tall with a medium build and may be driving a 2003 Nissan Maxima with Pennsylvania registration GFA9747. Anyone with information should call police at 724-543-2011.
5 p.m. Wednesday — A pickup truck driven by Rickey Croy, 38, of Harrisville crashed into an embankment and rolled over along Kennerdell Road near Old Publis Road in Clinton Township, Venango County. Croy was not injured.
5:50 p.m. Monday — Alisha Marie Cusick, 28, of Mercer was charged with retail theft after she allegedly tried to steal two items worth $27 from the Wal-Mart in Pine Township.Oct. 14 — Someone broke into a garage along Jackson Center-Polk Road in Worth Township belonging to Martin Kobsik, 62, of Stoneboro and stole several items. Anyone with information may call police at 724-662-6162.
