7:58 a.m. Wednesday — Vehicles driven by Terry Durst, no age given, of Sarver and Susan Berger, no age given, of Apollo, Armstrong County, collided on ice-covered Bear Creek Road near Grimm Road.

10:27 p.m. Tuesday — Lamar Brandon Rice, 31, of Duquense, Allegheny County, was arrested for driving under the influence after his sport utility vehicle struck a utility pole along Route 8 near Bean Street. Rice, in addition to DUI, is charged with driving with a suspended license, driving too fast for conditions and careless driving.4:40 p.m. Tuesday — Todd Watt, 24, of Prospect was arrested on a warrant after police spotted his car illegally parked in front of the Wal-Mart store in Butler Commons.Officers nabbed Watt when he came out of the store. Police said he initially gave officers a false name. He is charged with false identification to law enforcement authorities and a parking violation. He was placed in Butler County Prison on the warrant.Police, meanwhile, found Tomi Eck, 22, of Evans City, in Watt's vehicle.She, too, was jailed when it was discovered she also was wanted on a warrant.4:05 p.m. Tuesday — Rhonda Weltner, 40, of Butler is accused of shoplifting 41 items of merchandise from the Wal-Mart in Butler Commons. Weltner is charged with retail theft and possessing instruments of crime.

7:07 p.m. Wednesday — David Riley, 47, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 8 in Butler Township.5:16 a.m. Wednesday — A pickup truck driven by Benjamin Blicha, 17, of Fenelton rolled onto its side after sliding on snow-covered East Butler Road in Summit Township.Tuesday — Someone stole asilver Western Tornado salt spreader from the Pilot station on Route 422 in Muddy Creek Township. The theft occurred between Oct. 18 and Tuesday.12:35 p.m. Monday — A car driven by Audrey L. Lefebrve, 67, of Zelienople and a sport utility vehicle driven by Anna Ihlenfeld, 19, of Butler collided at Route 68 and Whitestown Road in Connoquenessing Township. Police said Lefebrve faces a ticket for a red light violation.
