7:27 p.m. Monday — A pickup truck driven by Walter Shumaker, 46, of Jefferson Township struck a utility pole along Morton Avenue. Police said Shumaker, who fled the crash scene, was cited for accidents involving damage to unattended property.9:47 a.m. Dec. 8 — Two people were hurt when a car driven by Kathryn Rottman, 63, of Butler Township and a sport utility vehicle driven by David Crowe, 53, of Meadville, Crawford County, collided at Wayne and McKean streets. Both drivers suffered minor injuries; Crowe was treated at Butler Memorial Hospital.
12:05 p.m. Tuesday — Vehicles driven by Kathy Boylestein, 53, of Ford City, Armstrong County, and Carol Golling, 43, of Petrolia collided at New Castle and Alameda Park roads. Boylestein suffered a minor injury.
2:12 p.m. Wednesday — Christopher G. Critchlow, 47, of Grove City was hurt when the car he was driving struck an embankment on Route 58 in Marion Township. Police said Critchlow, who was treated at Grove City MedicalCenter for minor injuries, was cited for a lane violation.12:37 p.m. Wednesday — A car driven by John O'Neil, no age given, of Chalk Hill, Fayette County crashed into a guardrail on Interstate 79 in Jackson Township. Debris from the car after the crash struck a passing minivan driven by Nathan Stumpabt, no age given, of Pittsburgh.Tuesday — Dayne Irwin, 54, of Petrolia is accused of violating a protection from abuse order for allegedly contacting a 56-year-old Petrolia woman on Fairview Road in Parker Township.
9:35 p.m. Tuesday — Brian G. Miller, 61, of Sarver was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 28 at Exit 13 in South Buffalo Township.
