1:04 p.m. Friday — Aminivan driven by Rose Matthews, 62, of Saxonburg and a sport utility vehicle driven by Elizabeth Moser, 52, of Sarver collided at Routes 28 and 356. Moser and a passenger in her vehicle, Oakley Moser, no age or address given, suffered minor injuries.
5:21 a.m. Saturday — Adam Lee Reno, 20, of West Pittsburgh was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his sport utility vehicle struck a lamp post at Routes 173 and 108 in Slippery Rock.2:23 a.m. Saturday — Acompound bow was found on Protzman Road in Summit Township. The owner can claim the property by calling police at 724-284-8100.2:48 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Jeromy Stahlman, 25, of Slippery Rock hit a patch of snow and crashed into a tree along Kiester Road near Route 8 in Slippery Rock Township. Police said Stahlman was cited for a lane violation.12:11 p.m. Friday — Justin C. Martin, 24, of Harrisville was hurt when his car crashed into a tree along Route 308 in Cherry Township. Police said Martin, who was treated at Clarion Hospital for moderate injuries, was cited for a lane violation.10:36 a.m. Friday — Apickup truck driven by Alexander Kneupper, 21, of Slippery Rock struck a small embankment and rolled onto its roof on Harmony Road in Slippery Rock Township. Police said Stahlman was cited for driving too fast for conditions.
9:20 p.m. Friday — An unknown hit-and-run driver crashed his pickup truck into the wooden porch of a Yellow Dog Road home in West Franklin Township. Police said the driver put his gray or silver Ford F-150 truck in reverse and drove away.The truck, which was last seen traveling west on Yellow Dog Road, had a Tonneau cover on its bed and is missing a front license plate holder. It also sustained damage to the front bumper area. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-543-2011.Charles Hodak of Butler owns the home that was damaged.
2:23 a.m. Saturday — Elishia Sue Frey, 31, of Sandy Lake was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Walnut Street and Route 62 in Sandy Lake Township.12:20 p.m. Friday — Four people were hurt when cars driven by Carol Jonnet, 75, of Forest Hills, Allegheny County, and Sara Naegele, 83, of Grove City collided at Route 208 and the Interstate 79 ramp in Springfield Township.Injured in the crash were Jonnet and a passenger in her car, Rita Windsor, 66, of Trafford, Westmoreland County, and Naegele and a passenger in her car, Edward Naegele, 85, of Grove City. All four were treated at Grove City Medical Center for minor injuries.
12:58 a.m. Saturday — A Butler County man and woman both face drunken driving and other charges after allegedly fleeing police in New Castle and crashing later in Butler County.Police said they initially spotted Jeffrey Everetts, 44, of North Washington driving a car on Route 108 near Cascade Street in New Castle. But he allegedly switched seats with his passenger, Mandy Dawn McCall, 20, of West Sunbury.The car, which continued east on Route 108 and traveled into Butler County, crashed into weeds on Halston Road in Clay Township. Police said Everetts was again at the wheel when the car crashed.Police said Everetts and McCall face charges of driving under the influence, fleeing or attempting to elude police, and numerous traffic violations.
