1:03 a.m. Friday — Harry Eugene Wagner, 35, of Butler was charged with simple assault after he allegedly grabbed his girlfriend and shoved her during an argument at 220 Kaufman Drive.8:15 p.m. Thursday — Hubert L. Litzenberger, 52, of Butler was charged with driving under the influence, highest rate of alcohol; possession of drug paraphernalia; driving without insurance; driving under suspended registration; driving without registration; invalid inspection, and following too closely after the car he was driving rear-ended a pickup truck driven by Jonathan D. Hardt, 28, of Freeport at the intersection of East Wayne Street and Center Avenue. No one was injured.2:47 a.m. May 1 — Arnold Eugene Miller, 43, of Pittsburgh was charged with driving under the influence after police discovered him sitting behind the wheel of a suspicious vehicle parked at 101 Highland Ave. John F. Clemens, 56, of Butler, a passenger in the car, was charged with public drunkenness.2:10 a.m. April 30 — Ronald Henson, 54, of Butler was charged with driving under the influence after the SUV he was driving struck a utility pole then collided with an unoccupied box truck owned by the Society of St. Vincent DePaul of Butler. Henson suffered moderate injuries and was taken by police to Butler Memorial Hospital after refusing treatment by EMTs on scene.
9:49 p.m. Thursday — Travis Zaborowski, 19, of Lyndora was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia following the investigation of a domestic disturbance in Lyndora.7:18 p.m. May 4 — Michael Bonefeste, 22, of Butler was charged with driving under the influence and hit-and-run after the vehicle he was driving allegedly crashed into another car in the lot of Mama Rosa along Old Plank Road. No one was injured.
11 a.m. April 30 — A 44-year-old Port Richey, Fla. man allegedly took a red 1999 Honda Accord belonging to Matthew Schenck, 28, of Butler from the driveway of Schenck's home on Elmwood Lane in Clay Township. It is believed the man fled to Florida with the vehicle. Any one with information can call police at 724-284-8100.
Friday — A minivan driven by Daniel G. Baysinger, 52, of East Brady crashed into an embankment and rolled onto its roof along Queenstown Road in Bradys Bend Township. Baysinger, who was not injured, was cited for driving at unsafe speed.
