1:31 p.m. Sunday — Rachelle Robinson, 35, of Butler is accused of giving bogus information to police who suspected she was wanted on a bench warrant. She is charged with providing false identification to law enforcement authorities.A search of Robinson, meanwhile, turned up suspected marijuana, a syringe, marijuana pipe and rolling papers. She also faces charges of possessing a small of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, as well as disorderly conduct.She was placed in the Butler County Prison on the warrant and later released.5:31 p.m. Saturday — William Michael Schantz, 41, of Butler was arrested for allegedly assaulting his former wife during a domestic dispute. Schantz also allegedly slapped another person during the incident and allegedly slammed a car door on a child's leg.Schantz was arraigned on charges of simple assault and two counts of harassment, and placed in the Butler County Prison on $2,500 bail.

7:40 p.m. Friday — Vehicles driven by Larry W. Garvin, 58, and Justin Schultz, no age given, both of Butler, collided on New Castle Road at Butler Commons. Garvin was cited for not stopping at a nonfunctioning traffic light. The light was not working, police said, because of a power outage in the area.

Sunday — A Jefferson Township woman reported her purse containing $300 and a cell phone were stolen from her car on Route 8 at the Clearview Flea Market in Center Township. The purse was taken between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.9 p.m. Saturday — Gerry Louis Hamilton, 51, of Fenelton is accused of pointing a stun gun at 31-year-old Paul Andrew Edwards of Chicora during an incident at Mennors Trailer Court in Clearfield Township. Hamilton is charged with terroristic threats, illegally possessing the stun gun and harassment.12:40 a.m. Saturday — John Anthony Herman Sr., 28, of Pittsburgh was arrested after he allegedly fought with and spit blood on two troopers called to a disturbance at a Horseshoe Lane home in Forward Township.Herman was arraigned on two counts of aggravated assault as well as resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. He was placed in the Butler County Prison on $25,000 bail, following arraignment.Friday — Someone between Aug. 11 and Friday stole two cars at a Venango Road home in Venango Township. The home also was broken into and a Pioneer surround sound stereo system stolen.The stolen cars are a pair of Pontiacs, a 1974 Firebird and a 1979 Trans Am.2:23 a.m. Thursday — Benjamin David Morrison, 22, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 8 in Butler Township.

11:20 a.m. Sunday — A man and woman from Pittsburgh were hurt when a car collided with the motorcycle they were riding on Route 8 at the T/A Truck Stop in Barkeyville.Eugene Gelblum, 47, who was driving the cycle, and his passenger, Blythe Bort, 35, suffered minor injuries; neither was wearing a helmet. George Zahr, 61, of Glen Mills, Delaware County, who was driving the car, was cited for failing to yield to another vehicle.
