Anyone with information may call police at 724-287-7743.9 p.m. Tuesday — A Butler woman was charged with simple assault and endangering the welfare of children after Butler County Children and Youth Services reported to police she had assaulted her 10-year-old son and failed to seek medical attention for his injuries.

Butler Township11:26 p.m. Thursday — Jill Mahoney, 25, of Portersville was charged with providing false identification to law enforcement and driving under suspension after police responded to a report of someone ransacking her car in the Wal-Mart parking lot.
