Butler Police9:35 a.m. Monday — A box truck backed up and hit the city-owned clock in front of the PNC Bank building on North Main Street. A city parks department crew was called and collected the loose parts from the damaged clock. Donald M. Novak, 40, of Donora, Washington County, was driving the truck.Monday — Police reported they charged a 12-year-old Butler boy with criminal mischief for smashing out five windows at a home in the 300 block of Zeigler Avenue on May 8. The boy, who police did not identify, is charged in juvenile court.

Butler Twp Police4:35 p.m. Friday — Vehicles driven by William Walter, 64, of Grove City and Brianna Harvey, 18, of Butler collided on North Main Street Extension near Bon Aire.

Grove City PoliceFriday — Police found a bicycle in the area of Liberty Street and Kocher Drive. The owner can claim the bike at the police station at 337 E. Pine St.

State Police, New CastleMay 12 — A Sony PlayStation video game system and Samsung cell phone were stolen in a burglary at a Crestview Lane home in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County.
