11:25 a.m. Monday — Clifford J. Hicks, 28, of Butler is accused of taking a carton of cigarette filter tubes and a container of tobacco from a Virginia Avenue apartment. Hicks allegedly took the items, valued at $10, while visiting the tenants, Shane and Linda Caldwell. The suspect, who is Shane Caldwell's cousin, is charged with theft and receiving stolen property, police said.

1:58 a.m. Saturday — Brenda Johnston, 53, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after her vehicle crashed into a creek off Kittanning Street.

June 22 — Police charged Charles F. Simon, 20, of Grove City with theft, receiving stolen property and conspiracy stemming from an April 25 theft at Schall's Tire on North Broad Street.1:41 a.m. June 19 — Someone hurled a rock through a glass door at the rear of a business at 157 S. Broad St. Anyone with information about the vandalism is asked to call police at 724-458-7925.

Monday — A burglar overnight stole unspecified items from a home on Brewer Road in Clinton Township. Police said the unknown suspect damaged a side door to the garage to get into the home.

Monday — Police reported a 16-year-old Worthington boy as a runaway. The boy, Zachary Stennett, left his home over the weekend and did not return, his mother told police. Stennett is 5 feet, 10 inches tall, about 125 pounds and has blond hair and green eyes.Anyone with information about the boy's whereabouts is asked to call 911, or the Kittanning barracks at 724-543-2011.
