5:41 p.m. Friday — A truck driven by Gregory J. Lowry, 31, of Morrow, Ohio, and a car driven by Suzanne A. Klann, 16, of Butler collided at the intersection of West Jefferson and Chestnut streets. Lowry, Suzanne Klann, and her passenger Jean Klann, 53, of Butler were uninjured.9:53 p.m. July 24 — Theodore A. Swartzlander, 52, of Butler was charged with DUI and several traffic violations after the car he was driving allegedly struck a utility pole in the 500 block of East Brady Street, then fled.10:45 p.m. July 23 — Sharon Lynn Miller, 48, of Butler was charged with DUI, DUI highest rate of alcohol and careless driving after the car she was driving allegedly struck a wall at the intersection of Brugh and Freemont avenues, then fled.

1:51 a.m. Friday — Shannon Kaib, 29, of Butler was charged with DUI and a stop sign violation following a traffic stop along Route 422 near Greenwood Drive.9:48 p.m. Thursday — Township police are warning businesses about a phone scam in which a male caller, claiming to be from the company's corporate office, called several Dunkin Donuts stores seeking employee cell phone numbers to verify a shipment of items to the business. Police caution businesses never to give out employees' personal information, including telephone numbers.2:37 a.m. Thursday — Dale Schnur Jr., 45, of Butler was charged with DUI and two traffic violations following a traffic stop on Route 422 after he allegedly crossed the center line.

7:05 a.m. Friday — A car driven by Michelle A. Maine, 28, of Grove City struck a tree on Interstate 79 in Plain Grove Township. Maine suffered major injuries and was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.
