6:30 p.m. Tuesday — An unknown vehicle struck a car owned by Darla Shuster of Cabot while the car was parked in the lot of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, damaging a rear fender.2:35 p.m. Monday — Charles W. Brommer Jr., 33, of Butler was charged with theft by deception after he allegedly agreed to screen print 78 T-shirts for Alan Rosenberg, owner of the Workingman's Store on South Main Street, and failed to do so after accepting the shirts, valued at $206, as well as a $140 deposit for the work.
9:30 p.m. Wednesday — An SUV driven by Shirley A. Maiolo, 72, of Butler struck a deer along Interstate 79 in Cranberry Township. Maiolo was not injured.9 p.m. Wednesday — Norine Lischy, 51, of Prospect was charged with theft of services after she allegedly dumped garbage in the business Dumpster of STA in Prospect.
2:38 a.m. Thursday — Chad Peate, 27, of Butler was charged with DUI, terroristic threats, resisting arrest, driving during suspension and several other traffic-related offenses following a traffic stop on Route 8 near the Greater Butler Mart.
Oct. 23 — Someone broke into a storage unit belonging to Goldie Rosenberger of East Brady at Bradys Bend Self Storage in Bradys Bend Township, Armstrong County. Anyone with information should call police at 724-543-2011.
8:40 p.m. Tuesday — A tractor trailer driven by Marcus K. Moore, 57, of Alvo, Neb., jackknifed in the westbound lanes of Interstate 80 in Richland Township. Moore was not injured.2:10 p.m. Monday — A Jeep driven by Linda D. Hansford, 52, of Knox crashed into a guard rail along Route 58 in Richland Township. Hansford was not injured.
