Oct. 23 — Two Butler youths, 12 and 13 years old, are accused of shoplifting scissors, a BB gun, CO2 cartridges and BBs from the Kmart store in Pullman Square. The youths were cited for retail theft, and released to their parents' custody.

11:52 a.m. Saturday — Vehicles driven by Ryan Glatch, 19, of Evans City and Rita Green, 38, of Fenelton collided on Route 356 at Hindman Road. Darla McGuire, 54, of Butler, a passenger in Green's vehicle, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with a minor injury. Glatch was cited for careless driving.5:04 p.m. Friday — A pair of suspected shoplifters were arrested after allegedly trying to take merchandise from the Wal-Mart in Butler Commons.Charged with retail theft, receiving stolen property, conspiracy and possession of drug paraphernalia are Jason Walzer, 34, of Ohio and Sandra Guthrie, 22, of Koppel, Beaver County. Also cited for possession of drug paraphernalia was Meagan Kozora, 28, of Rochester, Beaver County.4:28 p.m. Oct. 25 — Robert Bowman, 69, of Butler is accused in a hit-and-run crash on Evans City Road. Bowman allegedly drove away after rear-ending another vehicle, driven by 29-year-old Joshua Parker of Butler. No one was injured.Bowman later showed up at the police station, allegedly intoxicated. In addition to hit-and-run, he was cited for public drunkenness. careless driving, driving at an unsafe speed and driving without insurance.

Monday — Police reported that six teenagers face criminal mischief and conspiracy charges in connection with a vandalism spree Oct. 2 in Concord Township.The suspects, Corey Hilliard, 18, of Hilliards; Michael A. Reese, 18, of West Sunbury; and four Butler youths between 15 and 17 years old, allegedly damaged mailboxes and a business sign on several roadsAdditionally they damaged and painted township-owned road signs. Total damage is estimated at $1,700.Troopers originally arrested Hilliard for drunken driving following a short chase about 10:15 p.m. Oct. 2 on Hooker Road The other suspects were in Hilliard's pickup truck. The four youths were riding in the truck bed.11:39 p.m. Sunday — Christine M. Misko, 46, of Evans City was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after her minivan hit a guardrail on Interstate 79 in Cranberry Township.

10:45 p.m. Sunday — A car driven by a 17-year-old Grove City boy crashed into a mailbox and a pile of landscape rocks in the yard of a home on Route 258 in Springfield Township.1:20 a.m. Saturday — David R. Glenn Jr., 48, of Grove City was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Brent Road near Old Ash Road in Springfield Township. Glenn also was cited for driving on the wrong side of the road, careless driving and driving with a suspended license-DUI related.
