Thursday — Police continue to seek an unknown hit-and-run driver who crashed a stolen car head-on into a pickup truck at Filmore and Pillow streets Wednesday afternoon.The suspect, who ran off after the crash about 3:30 p.m., is described as a light-skinned black man, between 25 and 30 years old.The man was traveling southbound on Filmore Street in a silver, 2009 Volkswagen Jetta when it collided with the pickup, headed west on Pillow Street and turning onto Filmore Street.The car's windshield was covered with snow, a police report said.The 17-year-old Kittanning boy, who was driving the truck, and a passenger were not injured.The driver of the car got out and was last seen running toward Hansen Avenue and New Castle Street. He was wearing a gray hooded sweat shirt and blue jeans.The car had moderate damage to the front passenger side. The pickup had only minor damage.Police ran a records check of the car's license plate and found it had been reported stolen from Pittsburgh's Wilkinsburg neighborhood.Anyone with information about the suspect's identity is asked to call police at 724-287-7743

Monday — Police charged Lyndsey Langley, 25, of Grove City in connection with the Nov. 27 theft of $63.26 at RX Xpress Pharmacy on Mill Street. Langley is charged with forgery and theft.

4:44 a.m. Thursday — A car driven by William R. Howard Jr., 22, of Creighton, Allegheny County, crashed and rolled onto its roof on Interstate 79 in Lancaster Township. Louis M. Fern, 22, of Verona, Allegheny County, a passenger, was taken to UPMC Passavant Cranberry with minor injuries. He was wearing a seat belt.9:08 p.m. Monday — An unknown vehicle hit a car's driver side mirror at Kiester Road and Cameron Drive in Slippery Rock Township, and did not stop. Dena N. Mihalsky, 19, of Pittsburgh was driving the car.

6:30 a.m. Monday — A car driven by Megan K. Braun, 26, of Grove City crashed into a ditch after sliding off snow-covered Blacktown Road in Springfield Township.Dec. 2 — About $5,500 in currency was stolen from Villa Pizza in the Prime Outlets food court in Springfield Township. The theft happened between Nov. 27 and Dec. 2.
