Sunday — Mark Harvey reported the theft of 40-gallon water heater, worth $10, from his yard at 460 E. Jefferson St. He told police he discovered the heater missing when he went to scrap it.3:54 p.m. Saturday — Laurie Crawford, 29, of Butler was charged with robbery by force however slight, retail theft and criminal trespass after allegedly stealing $29.20 worth of items from the Family Dollar store at Pullman Square and $79.96 worth of items from the Kmart store on Hansen Avenue. Most of the items were clothing. Crawford is accused of shoving a Family Dollar employee who wanted to check her bag. She is charged with trespassing because she was banned from entering the Kmart store following a previous incident.
12:48 a.m. Thursday — Mark Goebel, 37, of Wampum in Lawrence County was charged with driving under the influence and possession of a small amount of marijuana following a traffic stop on West Portersville Road in Portersville.Jan. 6 — A $600 television was fraudulently charged to Phillip Dailey of Clearfield Township.
11:53 p.m. Tuesday — An SUV driven by Ronald Klein, 53, of Parker hit an embankment and a tree off Monterey Road in Perry Township. Klein received minor injuries. He was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and cited for not driving at a safe speed.6:10 p.m. Tuesday — An SUV driven by Kenneth Gratzinger, 48, of Parker went up an embankment and overturned onto Route 68 in Madison Township. Police report Gratzinger then fled on foot. He was charged with careless driving, driving under suspension, driving with expired registration, required financial responsibility, operation of a vehicle without inspection, displaying fictitious inspection, not immediately notifying police and not staying within the lane.
