1:56 a.m. Monday — James L. Griffin Jr., 53, of Mercer was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence. Police said he also was cited for careless driving. Griffin's son, 22-year-old Jonathan Griffin of Grove City, a passenger in the truck, was cited for having an open alcohol container.

10:30 p.m. Monday — Jason Geibel, 22, of Fenelton was charged with DUI following a crash on Chicora-Fenelton Road in Donegal Township. Geibel, who was not injured, allegedly swerved his pickup truck off the road, where it hit an embankment and rolled onto its roof, while trying to avoid deer in the road.11:32 p.m. Friday — Patrick Geagan, 42, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after police stopped his vehicle for an equipment violation on Route 422 at the Lyndora exit in Butler Township.July 26 — Someone vandalized two mailboxes on Chicora-Fenelton Road in Donegal Township. The mailboxes were damaged between 6 p.m. July 25 and 11 a.m. July 26.

11:24 a.m. Tuesday — A Templeton woman was allegedly caught with 30 stamp bags of suspected heroin following a traffic stop on Route 28 about two miles north of Exit 18 in North Buffalo Township.Police said they found the drugs hidden on 42-year-old Dana L. Wilds. She faces charges of possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.8:01 a.m. Monday — A car driven by Sydney M. Smith, 17, of Petrolia crashed into a dirt embankment and rolled over, landings on its wheels on Route 68 in Bradys Bend Township.11:08 p.m. Sunday — An Allegheny County woman was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence following a crash in South Buffalo Township that left three people hurt.Lisa J. Ball-Pacek, 41, of Natrona Heights, the suspected drunken driver, lost control of her sport utility vehicle on Route 128. The vehicle's passenger side mirror hit a mailbox before traveling back on the road and into a car driven by Leanne M. Palko, 21, of Freeport.Both drivers and Amber L. Binner, 20, of Freeport, a passenger in the car, were taken to Allegheny Valley Hospital in Natrona Heights with minor injuries. All three occupants were wearing seat belts.Sunday — An unknown vandal spray-painted the Perry Township municipal building and several road signs throughout the township. The vandalism happened between noon Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.

Monday — An unknown burglar stole about $5,000 worth of copper welding cable from a garage on Glacial Til Road in Liberty Township, Mercer County. The break-in happened between 5 p.m. Saturday and 5 p.m. Monday.
