8:07 a.m. Oct. 4 — A pickup truck driven by Richard D. Schrecengost, 39, of Butler crashed into a light pole in the Kmart parking lot along Hansen Avenue. Schrecengost was not injured.

6:01 p.m. Tuesday — Shawn Barnish, 19, and Nicholas Biktjorn, 19, both of Slippery Rock, each were cited for retail theft after they allegedly were caught stealing merchandise from the Wal-Mart in Butler Commons.Saxonburg Police7:34 p.m. Oct. 5 — Henry Zukowski Jr., 62, of Saxonburg was charged with driving under the influence and public drunkenness after police responded to a medical call at Novotny's Pizza on State Street. Police determined Zukowski, who was being treated by EMS personnel at the pizza shop, had driven there. He was taken to Alle-Kiski Medical Center.

Thursday — Sean Robert Hooper, 22, of Grove City was arrested for theft by unlawful taking after he allegedly was caught stealing a spool of copper from the Cooper Industrial Commons on Lincoln Avenue in Grove City.Wednesday — A bicycle was found at the office of Joseph O'Polka CPA on West Main Street in Grove City. The owner of the bike can claim the bike at the Grove City Police Department.
